1. Download safely
Use the official InboxAI release URL. The disk image should be named InboxAI_0.1.4_aarch64.dmg.
2. Copy InboxAI to Applications
- Open the downloaded DMG.Double-click the disk image in your Downloads folder.
- Move InboxAI to Applications.Drag the InboxAI application into the Applications folder.
- Eject the disk image.Close the installer window and eject the mounted InboxAI image.

InboxAI v0.1.4 does not currently have Apple Developer ID signing or notarization. macOS may therefore ask for additional confirmation on first launch.
3. Open InboxAI for the first time
- Open Applications in Finder.Locate InboxAI in the Applications folder.
- Right-click InboxAI and select Open.Do not double-click on the first attempt. Use the contextual Open command.
- Confirm the macOS prompt.Select Open when macOS asks whether you want to launch the application.
- If Open is unavailable.Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the InboxAI notice, and select Open Anyway.
4. Verify the SHA-256 checksum
Open Terminal in the folder containing the DMG and run:
macOS TerminalCopy and run in your terminal
shasum -a 256 InboxAI_0.1.4_aarch64.dmgCompare the result with the value in the official checksum file.
