1. Download safely

Use the official InboxAI release URL. The installer should be named InboxAI-0.1.4-windows-x86_64-setup.exe.

2. Install InboxAI

  1. Open the downloaded EXE.Launch the installer from your browser downloads list or Downloads folder.
  2. Review the Windows warning.Because v0.1.4 does not have Microsoft Authenticode signing, Windows SmartScreen may ask you to confirm before continuing.
  3. Complete the NSIS setup.Follow the installer prompts and allow InboxAI to finish installing.
  4. Launch InboxAI.Open InboxAI from the Start menu or desktop shortcut and continue with activation.

Windows SmartScreen may display a warning because InboxAI v0.1.4 is currently distributed without Microsoft Authenticode signing. Confirm that the filename and checksum match the official InboxAI release before continuing.

3. Verify the SHA-256 checksum

Open PowerShell in the folder containing the installer and run:

Get-FileHash .\\InboxAI-0.1.4-windows-x86_64-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Compare the result with the value in the official checksum file.
