Review settings deliberately

Document significant configuration changes and test their effect in a controlled workflow before relying on them in production.

1. Confirm application versionUse the supported stable build before troubleshooting configuration differences.
2. Review workspace preferencesCheck visible defaults, date or locale behaviour and operational settings.
3. Protect local accessUse operating-system accounts, screen locking and device encryption where available.
4. Retain authorised backupsBack up only data your organisation is permitted to retain and protect the backup appropriately.
5. Sanitise diagnosticsRemove contact data, credentials and licence information before sharing screenshots or logs.

Understand local responsibility

Desktop-first storage can improve control, but the device owner remains responsible for endpoint security, user access, retention and deletion.
